You find this small museum in Fruita in
North West Colorado, USA. It is a little way south of the town and you can't
miss the model stegosaurus and tyrannosaurus on top of the sign outside. The
cost of entry is $5 for adults, which seems rather high for a small museum.
Perhaps that is a reason there were no other visitors when we went there, apart
from 2 unaccompanied children running around who may have been children of a
member of staff.

das Schild nicht übersehen, denn auf dem Schild sind zwei

die einzigen Besucher im Museum waren, ausser zwei Kindern, die im Museum
herumgelaufen sind.There are 2 floors, or rather one with a balcony around so you can have a view from above. Each museum seems to have something to make it different from others. In this case it is more than a dozen realistic animated dinosaurs, stomping and roaring. You press buttons to animate them. The museum is a mix of dinosaur relics, fossils and articulated skeletons. There is a detailed head of a tyrannosaurus with a baby next to it.
Es gibt 2 Etagen, wobei die zweite nur ein Rundgang war, von wo aus man die unteren sachen von oben betrachten konnte. Jedes Museum scheint irgendwie anders zu sein, als andere. Das Besondere an diesem Museum sind die über ein duzend realistisch animierte Dinosaurier. Um sie zu animieren, muss man einfach Knöpfe drücken. Das Museum ist voll mit Fossilien und Skelette. Es gibt einen detallierten Tyrannosaurus-Kopf mit einem Baby daneben.
There is also a working lab where local finds are cleaned up for museum display and study. Dinosaur digs are available if you have the time.
Es gibt auch ein Labor, wo Funde aus der Umgebung zur Ausstellung gereinigt werden. Man kann den Paläontologen auch bei Ausgrabungen helfen, wenn man Zeit hat.
