Whitby is on the
Yorkshire coast in north east England. It is a good place to go if you want to
look for fossils yourself, but be sure to check the tides as you can get cut
off!

besteht Lebensgefahr!It is an interesting place to look for dinosaur footprints and scratchings made by dinosaurs pushing off before going for a swim. There are also footprints from theropods.
Whitby ist ein interessanter Ort, um Fußspuren zu sehen, sowie Kratzungen von Dinosauriern, die sich zum Schwimmen abdrückten. Es gibt auch Fußspuren von Theropoden.
There are thousands of ammonites and lots of fragile belemmites to be found. You can also find countless excellent plant fossils. I found this fossil in the picture on the right which even my Uncle Brendan couldn't identify and he's a geologist! Can anyone help us, please?

Es gibt zahlreiche Ammoniten sowie viele Belemmiten zu finden. Man kann auch viele exzellente Pflanzenfossilien sehen. Ich habe dieses Fossil (links im Foto) gefunden. Sogar mein Onkel Brendan konnte es nicht identifizieren und er ist Geologe! Kann uns bitte jemand helfen?
